Discussing AI & Human Relationships

Dr Marije Kanis from Digital life was invited to participate and provoke during a two-day workshop on AI & Human relationships on the 12th and 13th of September. This event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society.
The invited experts came from different fields, such as technology (e.g. designers/architects of robots/AI), law, ethics, philosophy, art (science fiction), literature, psychology/behavioural studies and language processing. They discussed different approaches to human-technology relations in the nuance of cooperation, coordination and collaboration. Using design illustrations, Marije presented her approach to making invisible computing more physical as a way to support more transparent and honest relationships.
